We've been busy in the widget lab again and I'm happy to announce some new widgets for you. These include new RescueTime, Cloudability, New Relic, Jenkins and Tube Status widgets, as well as updates to the existing AppFigures and Jenkins widgets too. You’ll find these under the ‘Labs’ category in Geckoboard and are there for you to try out and we'd like to hear what else you'd like to see as we continue to develop them. Here's some more information about the widgets:
Daily Productivity Score - Show your RescueTime productivity score for the current day, and compare it to your average for the past two weeks.
Today's goals - See the current status of your RescueTime goals for today.
Time per category by day - See the time spent in a specific category by day over the past month.
Compare Two Categories Over Time - Compare time spent in two different categories over the past 30 days.
Cloud Spend - Our Cloudability integration allows you to view cloud spend by:
- Month to date
- Prior month
- Last 12 months
- Year to date
- All time
Browser Load Time - Display a linechart of browser load time for an application over time.
We've updated all of the Jenkins widgets to use a more flexible connection method, meaning we're now able to support a greater range of Jenkins setups. If you've tried the Jenkins widgets previously and weren't able to get them working then you might want to try again! We've also added the following new widget:
Build Status - Display a warning message when any of your builds break.
Tube Status Updates - Display a warning when service for any of the London Tube lines is disrupted.
We made a small update to the existing AppFigures widget, allowing you to report on 'All Time' data. This means you can now see your total number of downloads for example.
Log in to Geckoboard to try them out and let us know your thoughts and what other widgets we should create for them! We’ll be adding more over the coming weeks.
